Valerie Anne Poxleitner is the 23-year-old Canadian girl with the sweet voice. This singer-songwriter uses the sounds of the synthesizer and keytar to make a unique sound for herself.
So why do we think music fans will like her? Her music is easy on the ears. Happy and easy. She sings about love, second chances but doesn't make it depressing. Some might say that she sounds too familiar to another artiste out there, Owl City. But there's something about her that is still refreshing. It's refreshing because she's still different from the usual suspects like Pitbull, Lady Gaga & and Akon and other urban radio acts.
She's won a couple of awards in her native country but she still hasn't made the breakthrough in America but we believe it's certainly not because of a lack of ability. Her music is something people should definitely pick up on.
