"Music is the Heart of the Soul"

Male RnB singers are a dime a dozen. They may not crowd the market but only the best stay on top. They can burst onto the scene but staying power is an elusive quality. Usher and Justin Timberlake have proved that they are elite as they are still around and packing a punch, even after all these years. In recent times, perhaps only Ne-yo can claim to be on an equally successful path. Of the recent group, Jay Sean (already a veteran of the UK music scene) and Justin Bieber look like they can stick around. Others like Colby O' Donis showed promise but have since faded.
Needless to say, 21-year old Tino Coury has a tough task on his hands. Actually, he might not have even been in the music industry, had it not been for an injury that prevented a college football scholarship.
Good thing he was quite musically inclined. He taught himself the guitar, learning from punk rock songs and moving on to piano, bass and drums. He seems to devote the same discipline that was required of him as an athlete into his music.
With the help of supportive parents, he got hold of production software and equipment and eventually learned to produce his own songs. Oh, and being able to sing helps quite a bit.
Football's loss is music's gain. Tino is about to break out on merit. Sure, it's hard to stay in but don't count on this young talent on pushing hard to make it.
